9 Days / 8 Nights

PROGRAMM

Day 1: PARIS – YAOUNDE

Departure from Paris to Yaoundé, the political capital of the country. Arrival at the airport in Yaoundé, welcome and transfer from airport to hotel. Yaoundé Capital of the central region is the political capital of Cameroon and the principal town. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: YAOUNDE – SOMALOMO

Breakfast, then departure for the Dja Reserve via Somalomo – entrance formalities at the Park – Crossing the Dja River by ferry. Installation in the pygmies village – Dinner and overnight in tents. There may be a possibility of organizing a cultural dance of welcome to tourists.

Day 3: DJA RESERVE

Breakfast, departure for Schouam 10 km after crossing the river, courtesies with the village community, entrance to the forest to visit the buffaloes Rock located 7 km, pedestrian walk – Visit of the rocks overlooking the reserve, lovely view of the canopy (treetop) extending out of sight, ability to observe animals, Picnic and rest, walking in the forest, dinner and overnight in tents in the rock or around the rock.

Day 4: ACTIVITIES IN THE RESERVE OF DJA

Early wake up, breakfast, if possible observation of animals on the rock of Schouam, Breakfast followed by departure for saline Bali located about 25 miles away. Pedestrian walking in the forest, Observation of the natural splendor, campsite 15 km away, lunch, arrival and installation, dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 5: ACTIVITIES IN THEDJARESERVE

Early wake up, Breakfast – Continue to saline Bali, arrival and installation in camp, lunch,  in the afternoon or observation, visit of animals in the saline (ability to see the Elephants, gorillas, sitatunga, Bongos, birds, etc …), swimming in the streams around, dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 6,7: ACTIVITIES IN THE DJA RESERVE

Breakfast, watching animals in the saline, back to Somalomo – Pedestrian Walk, lunch, little relaxation during the times of walk, continuation of the pedestrian walk, arrival and transfer to the Visitor Centre Somalomo, Swimming in the Dja River –  Dinner and overnight at the Visitor Centre.

Day 8: SOMALOMO – YAOUNDE

Breakfast, Back to Yaoundé, stop Bifolone the pygmies village, after visit, continuation and arrival at Ayos, observation of the river Nyong and fishermen “Kanga” species of fish consumed in this locality which also often celebrated the feast of Kanga, this River also served as a means of locomotion transport logs, navigable for 300km, Lunch to Ayos, Continuation to Yaoundé, arrival and transfer to hotel, dinner at the restaurant night at the hotel.

Day 9: YAOUNDE

Breakfast, departure for the Mefou park, visit the endangered primates, return to Yaoundé, lunch at a restaurant in town, city tour, explore the various monuments of the city, Transfer to Airport. End of Services
