Located in Buea former German capital of Cameroon is Mount Fako Commonly called “Chariot of the Gods”. We will discover the Chariot of the Gods; explore the highest mountain in Central Africa and West with its unique breath taking landscapes. From the mangrove forest to the sea of lowland forest all green and the mountain forest to savanna, you can find several species of orchids in the rainy season. You will discover the absolute evidence of an active volcano, walking on the lava eruptions of 1959, 1999 and 2000.

Program
Day 1: PARIS -DOUALA
Departures from Paris to Douala, welcome at Douala airport, transfer to hotel or continuation to Buéa 70km arrival and installation, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: TREKKING
Early morning – breakfast, drive to Buea-Arrival and assembly of hardware and carriers, begins the ascent – 9 km trekk to1865m altitude at the N°1shelterandin an area of tropical forest. You leave behind a beautiful view of the city of Buea where the German Governor von PUTT KAMER was installed.Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: TREKKING
Breakfast – The climb continues to the cottage N° 2 and N° 3, 2852m and 3776 m respectively you will have total 19 km, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: TREKKING
Breakfast – The walk continues to the summit at 4100m, after a few minutes rest at the top, we start with the descent through the lava flows, walking is quite difficult mainly on lava eruptions of 1959 (around 10 hours of walking) – Night at Mann-Spring.
Day 5: SUMMIT – DESCENT
Breakfast continues walking through the lava then in the forest – Dinner and overnight in a convenient place where water is found.
Day 6: BUEA – LIMBE
Breakfast – Walk to Buea, Continuation to Limbe, relaxing at the beach hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: LIMBE
Breakfast – Relaxing at the beach of the Seme New Beach – Lunch at the landing – Visit the Botanical Gardens and Zoo – Return to hotel –Dinner and overnight.
Day 8: LIMBE – DOUALA – PARIS
Breakfast – Morning at the beach – Lunch in town – Transfer to DOUALA, shopping in the handicraft center, late in the afternoon flight to PARIS. END OF SERVICES
