CAMPO MA’AN NATIONAL PARK
Description
The Campo Ma’an National Park covers an area of 264,064 ha on the border between Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. It is the only national network park distinguished by direct contact with the marine area on the Atlantic coast. It is host to 80 species of mammals, forest elephants, leopards and gorillas, and 302 species of birds, 122 reptiles and 250 fish. The traveler can also visit German remains in the island of Dipikar and the museum of the tree, artistic intervention in a tree in the heart of the forest, carried out by the International Network of Model Forests, carried directly by the RAFM (Network African Model Forest) in the Campo Ma’an National Park.
Recommendations
The Campo Ma’an National Park is an equatorial protected area, the thickness of the forest makes it more difficult to observe and meet animals than in other contexts. The visitor must be patient to discover the hidden wonders of this forest, ready to go for long walks in the forest (it is advisable to bring torches, raincoats, shoes and clothes suitable for walking. Observation of animals in the period of the rainy season is recommended.

PROGRAMM
9 days / 8 nights
Day 1: PARIS -YAOUNDE
Welcome by your guide at the international airport of the political capital of Cameroon Yaoundé-Nsimalen, a green city with a mild climate called the city of seven hills, transfer to the hotel Mérina, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: YAOUNDE – NKOLANDOM
Wake up, breakfast, departure from Yaoundé for Nkolandom, ” Nkolandom ” in local language (Bulu) means ” Mount of Elegance ” it is a beautiful forest village located 18 km from Ebolowa, detour to the Mefou park which collects the endangered primates namely gorillas, Mandrills etc …, observation of the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the habitats along the way, arrival and installation at the Hotel Avenir, lunch at Ebolowa, partial visit of the tourist center (baobab on the rock, mysterious rocks, museum Fang-Beti with all its wealth, craftsmen’s workshops), organization of traditional dance Beti (Abakuya) dinner and overnight.
Day 3: NKOLANDOM – AKO’OKAS – NYABIZAN – EBIANEMEYONG
Morning wake up followed by breakfast and departure from Nkolandom for Akok ‘okas, arrival then formalities to visit the discovery of the equatorial forest and the mythical python named “Ako’okas” Back followed by the continuation to the village Nnemeyong via Nyabizan. Picnic at Meyo Centre, continuation of the journey, arrival and installation in the platform, dinner and overnight.
Day 4, 5.6: IMMERSION IN CAMPO MA’AN PARK
After our breakfasts we will spend our days hiking in the National Park of Campo Ma’an for a possibility of observation of animals namely Gorillas, Monkeys, Buffaloes, Elephants etc … Excursions consist of following some trails frequented by large mammals. We will also discover the Menve’ele Falls during our stay. Dinners and nights will be in tents or at the Ntem River Platform with a lush landscape, possibility of paddle boat ride.
Day 7: CAMPO MA’AN – KRIBI
Breakfast, we take the road to go to Kribi seaside city of Cameroon, a meal of road will be taken according to the state of road, continuation, arrival and installation at the hotel, seaside relaxation, dinner in a restaurant in the city, night at the hotel feet in the water.
Day 8: KRIBI
Breakfast, seaside relaxation, canoe trip on the Lobé River, visit of the Lobé waterfalls, unique in the world, pouring into the ocean. Shrimp tasting at the edge of the falls, seaside relaxation, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: KRIBI – DOUALA
Breakfast, seaside relaxation, lunch with fresh fish from the landing stage, visit to Londji village, departure for Douala, arrival followed by shopping at the artisanal market of Douala, orientation tour of the city (administrative and commercial center), transfer to the airport. END OF SERVICES.
