DZANGA SANGHA
Located in the rainforest of Southof Central African Republic, the Dzanga Sangha is part of a vast protected area Tri-National Sangha River between the Central African Republic, Cameroon and the Republic of Congo. Wildlife viewing is the main attraction in this reserve, the area inhabited by large mammals such as: Gorillas, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes etc … It also gives you the opportunity to work with the Ba’akapygmies living there. Dzanga-Sangha Reserve enjoys a humid tropical climate.
THÈME: ECOTOURISM AND SAFARI VISION DURATION: 09 days / 8 nights ITINERARY: Héxagon – Yaoundé – Yokadouma – Libongo – Lidjombo – Bayanga Daily Program: Day 1: PARIS – YAOUNDE Reception at Yaoundé International Airport which is the political capital of Cameroon, commonly known as the city of seven hills like Rome. Transfer to the Mérina hotel or another, dinner and overnight. Day 2: YAOUNDE – YOKADOUMA Early wake up, breakfast, departure from Yaoundé for Yokadouma through the magnificent forest landscape at the same time green covered with dust in the dry season, observation of the architecture of the Bantu houses along the way, Lunch or picnic in Batouri , taking pictures in the villages, arrival and installation at the Elephant hotel, dinner and overnight. Day 3: YOKADOUMA – LIBONGO – BAYANGA – LODGE Early wake up, breakfast followed by departure for BAYANGA, Welcome by your Central African correspondent in Libongo, entry and exit formalities respectively at the police and gendarmerie stations of Libongo in Cameroon and Lidjombo in the Central African Republic, arrival and installation at DOLI LODGE, Dinner and overnight. Day 4: NDOKI-BAIE After Breakfast, entrance formalities to the Park, departure for NDOKI-BAI for an elephant observation all day, we will take the picnic with us, pedestrian walk of 4km round trip, return to the Lodge in the evening, dinner and overnight. Day 5: NATIONAL PARK DZANGA SANGHA BAIE HOKU Early wake up, Breakfast, Departure for the observation and tracking of chimpanzees, gorillas and Mangabeys, this visit requires a whole day, picnic in the conservation huts, return to the Lodge, Dinner and overnight. Day 6: ACTIVITIES WITH PYGMIES Breakfast, activities with the Pygmies (fishing, net hunting, tam-tam on the water) community in which Louis Sarnon lived (an American who had a child with a Pygmy woman), walk on the Sangha river by canoe, organization of a cultural dance in the evening, dinner and night at the Lodge. Day 7: DZANGA SANGHA – YOKADOUMA Early wake up, breakfast, Departure for Yokadouma, border crossing formalities, lunch at Libongo or picnic en route depending on the weather, continuation of the trip, arrival and installation at the Elephants Hotel, dinner and overnight. Day 8: YOKADOUMA – BERTOUA Breakfast – Departure for Bertoua, visit to the gold mine in the KAMBELE village after lunch, discover how the people of this village go for the active search of gold by digging the ground, Lunch in Batouri, continuation to Bertoua, arrival and transfer to Christiana hotel, walking tour and meeting with people, back to the hotel, dinner and overnight. Day 9: BERTOUA – YAOUNDE Breakfast, Drive to Yaoundé, Lunch or picnic, Continuation – Arrival and visit of the political capital of Cameroon, shopping at the handicraft center, transfer to the Airport.
